- Date: 2022-2026
- Project leader: Shiyao Zhang
Individuals’ good social behavior can lead to positive, supportive, intimate social relationships, which have been shown to have beneficial effects on general health, and in particular for maintaining psychological health. However, stress as a universal problem in modern society can affect social behavior in several manners. This project aims to identify the role of exercise in stress-induced social behavior changes in human beings and dig into the under lying mechanisms using zebrafish as a model.
